Overview

This listing is for an Amazon Associates, Adsense, affiliate, and advertising business created in May 2015 in the beauty niche. The Wordpress site features reviews and guides about hair care, all of which are outsourced. Amazon Associates brings in around 50% of the profits, with Adsense bringing in around 25%. In addition to other advertising and affiliate income, the Seller also accepts sponsored guest post opportunities. This quickly growing business is mostly hands off. Due to a plugin displaying incorrectly, the site has a penalty that removes the ability for the website to use rich snippets with Google. This has no effect on rankings. The penalty was caused by a plugin that was set up to display star rating rich snippets in the search results. Interference from another plugin caused the information to not display correctly which violated Google's policy.  The Seller has since corrected the issue, but hasn't asked Google to remove the penalty since the website doesn't have much need for rich snippets. *Years ago the Seller purchased PBN links, but since then, these links have either gone dead or been disavowed. *We’ve decided to use an 8-month average of net profit for the valuation because we felt that a 12-month average did not accurately represent the current state of the business.
